First Week
Our volunteering adventure has officially started! The teachers gave us a very warm welcome and helped us understand the school routine. We immediately bonded with the children through many fun games, and we all had a great time together.
During the week, we organized a special creative activity for Grandparents' Day, which the kids loved. We also shared a meaningful moment with a teacher, reading aloud key words about sustainability to learn how to protect our planet.
LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR COUNTRIES
We had a great time introducing ourselves to the kids! In the swietlica, we bonded through hands-on games and creative activities. We also visited the classrooms to share stories about our home country and our culture:)
THE UNIVERSE
In class, the children did a creative activity about space. They tried to recreate the galaxy and the planets using balloons and tempera paint.
With colors and imagination, they created many beautiful and colorful planets. The children had fun watching their planets, talking about them, and sharing their ideas.
In our opinion, it was a beautiful activity to explore the cosmos, to think about where we are, and to wonder what is out there.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORT?
Today we played with aluminum foil! We made little figures doing their favorite sports. It was a fun and creative way to learn more about the children. They loved making many different characters!

A BRIGHT OCEAN
Today, we are delighted to show you an ocean filled with a great luminous life!
Thanks to chalk and black leaves , children were able to give life to their animals prefer seabed.
ROULÉ AU NUTELLA
Cooking moment with the children, who loved it. The recipe was simple and everyone gave it their all.It is not a dessert that is necessarity typically French but it looks the most like French toast.
COLORFUL BUTTERFLY
With the arrival of spring, the colors of summer return, which is why we've chosen to showcase a colorful explosion of butterfly wings on canvas. The goal is to mix, combine, and utilize as many colors as possible. We chose the butterfly because it perfectly represents spring with its vibrant hues.
TIRAMISU
After "Roulé au Nutella", we decided to make a traditional Italian dessert: tiramisu.
Thanks to a motivated team, we managed to make the dessert easily. And the children loved cooking!

THE WATER LILIES
For this activity, we were greatly inspired by the French artist Claude Monet, particularly his famous Water Lilies series. The children loved participating in the creation.

PRESENTATION OF EUROPE
This week has been filled with numerous presentations about Europe, both in general and for specific countries. To help the children immerse themselves as much as possible, we organized an activity where the goal was to match the name, capital, flag, and symbol of the country to which it belongs.

LABOUR DAY
This week was marked by Labour Day, so we wanted to explain to the children what it was all about and introduce them to various jobs, in English, so that they could also learn English through these professions. The activity then concluded with each child drawing a picture to show what their dream job was.

SPORTS DAY
It was a beautiful and happy spring day here at school. Everyone was dressed in bright spring colors, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Titua played in the volleyball tournament: teachers against students! He played with the teachers' team, and after the match, some students even asked him for an autograph. It was a truly magnificent day!

SPRINGTIME
With the arrival of spring, classroom is full of colors. We started our Easter preparations by making cute bunnies, colorful eggs, and beautiful handmade collages to decorate the walls.

OUR EUROPEAN PROJECT
For our European project, the children happily decided to help us. Together, we colored different world maps. It was a wonderful moment because they were very curious and asked many questions about different countries.

ANIMAL FUN
Today we used our creativity! Every child made their favorite animal using playdough. Right after, we played a little language game and learned to say the names of the animals in both Polish and English.

POLISH PIZZA
Today we had a real food adventure and made "Polish pizza". As an Italian, it was a little cultural shock for me, but it was wonderful to see how a recipe can change in every country. Also, it was really delicious.
READING TOGETHER
These days we are spending a lot of time reading together. It has become our favorite moment: we look at picture books, use our imagination, and learn many new English words in a fun way.
